Immersion has deep Navy roots. We are proud to support the Department through our Seaport-e contract, N00178-10-D-6089, to provide engineering, technical and programmatic services across the 22 functional areas. As a growing small business we continue to expand our presence and ability to deliver subject matter expertise integrated with systematic solutions. Immersion’s goal is to help Navy capitalize the critical nodes of modern organizations, where IT, financial and program management systems converge. Over the past 3 years we have continued to grow and refine this capability delivering Quality Assurance, Information Technology, Logistics, Training and Program Support to our Navy client’s, both as a Seaport-e prime and subcontractor.

Through this aligned process we are capable of assessing the quality of our work as well as transfer best practices and business process reengineering methodologies across the client organization and often across Navy, as we do with the Defense Travel System.

Immersion adheres to the Lean Six Sigma model for monitoring results and maximizing quality. Over 30% of our employees are certified Six Sigma Green Belts and one of our key managers will attain a Black Belt certification in June 2010. Project goals are delivered through the direct application of Lean Six Sigma project phases. By following the DMAIC process, we develop an intimate understanding of the client's current state (Define and Measure), what improvements are required to improve the current state (Explore and Develop), how the improvements must be executed within the organization to achieve anticipated results (Implement), and ultimately monitoring performance against the planned results to determine ROI and any adjustments that may be required to deliver anticipated ROI (Control). Each of these areas is supported systemically by internal company systems and on-line, web-based collaboration tools. The client is involved in each step to ensure that quality is maximized.
